This adults-only beach resort, cradled by limestone cliffs above Agios Gordios village, enjoys some of the bluest views on Corfu’s west coast. As well as the sea-facing outdoor pool, there is a heated indoor pool and posh modern spa, including sauna and hot tub. The entertainment programme offers a weekly traditional dance night, beginner’s Greek lessons, and musical events, plus there’s pool and table tennis. An ultra-exclusive resort with an emphasis on health and wellbeing. Though undeniably glossy, this is not really a resort in which to see and be seen – some guests only emerge from their pavilions to watch the sunset or to borrow a book from the 1,000-volume library. That said, there are two tennis courts, a 25-metre pool with wraparound terrace, gym, Pilates studio, yoga pavilion, and, this being Greece, a small outdoor amphitheatre. The spa offers treatments based on the healing philosophy of Greek medicine. Cuisine is Greek-Mediterranean, made from locally sourced produce.
