EPHORATE OF ANTIQUITIES OF THE DODECANESE
The Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports organizes the August Full moon celebration every year since August 2002 in archaeological sites, museums and monuments. The celebration of August full-moon 2018 will be held on Sunday, August 26th. The Ephorate of Antiquities of the Dodecanese participates in the celebration by organizing the following events:

Rhodes – Odeion of Ancient Acropolis of Rhodes – Time 20.30 |

The Ephorate of Antiquities of the Dodecanese in cooperation with the South Aegean Region (Local Governmental Authority), organizes a musical performance titled “August full-moon with melody, poetry and light” in the Odeion of the ancient acropolis of Rhodes. Performances of traditional and modern greek music, classical music and poetry recitals by rhodian artists. |

Kos – Archaeological Museum of Kos – Tour time 20.15 |

The Archaeological Museum of Kos will remain open to the public from 20.00 to 24.00. There will be guided tours by the archaeologists of the Ephorate. |
